Linezolid ve vankomisine karfl› direnç saptanmam›fl, ancak di¤er antibiyotiklere karfl› yüksek direnç yüzdeleri dikkati çekmifltir. Bununla birlikte metisiline dirençli Staphylococcus aureus sufllar›na ko-trimoksazol de etkili bulunmufltur. Sonuçlara göre linezolid metisiline dirençli stafilokok sufllar›n›n neden oldu¤u infeksiyonlar›n tedavisinde iyi bir alternatif durumundad›r.It was aimed to determine the resistance of methicillin-resistant staphylococci isolated from various clinics to linezolid, vancomycin, gentamicin, levofloxacin, co-trimoxazole and telithromycin. While there were no resistance to linezolid and vancomycin, high rates of resistance to other antibiotics were remarkable. Neverthless, co-trimoxazole was also found effective to methicillin-resistant Staphylococccus aureus strains.
