Bununla birlikte geleneksel ve düşük maliyetli havayolu işletmelerinin Covid-19 salgını öncesi son dönemdeki finansal performansının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın sonucunda geleneksel havayolu işletmelerinin teknik etkinlik değişim değerlerinin 2016-2017 dönemi ile 2018-2019 döneminde, teknolojik değişim değerleri ile toplam faktör verimliliğindeki değişim değerlerinin ise sadece 2016-2018 döneminde arttığı tespit edilmiştir. Düşük maliyetli havayolu işletmelerinin ise teknik etkinlik değişim değerinin 2016-2017 döneminde ve teknolojik değişim değerinin 2017-2018 döneminde arttığı görülürken toplam faktör verimliliğindeki değişim değerinin ise sadece 2017- 2018 döneminde sabit kaldığı görülmüştür.Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the change in the financial efficiency and productivity values of a total of 24 airlines applying the traditional and low-cost business model for the period 2016-2019 using the Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index (MTFV) method. In addition, it is an examination of the financial performance of traditional and low-cost airlines in the last period before the Covid-19 epidemic. As a result of the research, it was determined that the technical efficiency change values of traditional airlines increased in 2016-2017 and 2018- 2019 period, while the technological change values and total factor productivity values increased only in the 2016- 2018 period.
