The number and severity of these complications increase with the time on hemodialysis (HD). Beta-2 microglobulin accumulates in the soft tissue in HD patients due to its low level of clearance. Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is one of the clinical expressions of this accumulation. Early diagnosis and treatment of CTS is important, since being late may lead to permanent defect and/or resistant symptoms.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCarpal Tunnel SyndromeHemodialysisVascular Steal SyndromeCarpal Tunnel Syndrome Based on Accumulation of ?2 Microglobulin With Vascular Steal Syndrome: A Case ReportCarpal Tunnel Syndrome Based on Accumulation of ?2 Microglobulin With Vascular Steal Syndrome: A Case ReportArticle1515659WOS:000217138800009N/A
