Etiopathogenesis is still unknown; it is an obstetric emergency with high mortality rates at birth or shortly after birth, characterized by the sudden onset of hypotension, hypoxia and severe coagulopathy. In this article a 35 year old woman whose preterm pregnancy resulted in maternal and fetal death was presented. We aimed to present a case of amniotic fluid embolism whose rare causes are associated with wide cranial and pulmonery embolism for differential diagnosis during pregnancy.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAmniotic Fluid EmbolismDisseminated Intravascular CoagulationPulmonary ThromboembolismA Rare Cause of Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation and Pulmonary Thromboembolism and Review of the Literature: Amniotic Fluid EmbolismA Rare Cause of Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation and Pulmonary Thromboembolism and Review of the Literature: Amniotic Fluid EmbolismReview Article423236WOS:0002190857000042-s2.0-8489741083310.5152/dcbybd.2013.355N/AN/A
