In this meta-analysis research,35 studies carried out between 2008-2018 were analyzed and 25 studiessuitable for inclusion criteria were combined with the meta-analysismethod. Because of the heterogeneous structure, random effects modelwas used while combining the studies. At the end of the currentresearch, the effect size of the smart board usage on students’achievement in mathematics and science was found as 0.807. Theresearch leads to conclusion that usage of smart boards has a large andpositive impact on improving students’ academic achievement.
