The result is finite giving the standard result in the lowest order of iteration. The formalism of self-field quantumelectrodynamics used here needs neither field quantization, nor renormalization. There are no infrared or ultraviolet divergences.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess[No Keyword]SELF-FIELD QUANTUM ELECTRODYNAMICS WITHOUT INFINITIES - A NEW CALCULATION OF VACUUM POLARIZATIONSELF-FIELD QUANTUM ELECTRODYNAMICS WITHOUT INFINITIES - A NEW CALCULATION OF VACUUM POLARIZATIONArticle1982126130WOS:A1995QH1030001210.1016/0375-9601(94)00979-YN/A
