She had symptoms of dysphagia, regurgitation of a fleshy mass into the mouth, and attacks of dyspnea. Every effort was made for diagnosis. At cervical exploration, upper esophageal polyp was discovered incidentally, and removed. We present this case because of rarity and emphasize the clinical presentation. The physician should be aware of the presence of this rare esophageal tumor. © 2003 Elsevier B.V.
