Experimental studies were performed with the lignite samples taken form underground lignite fields and surface lignite field in Eskişehir-Mihaliççik, Turkey. Firstly, float-sink tests were made on -50+20 mm, -20+4.75 mm ve -4.75+0.5 mm size fractions.
