It can be seen that crystalline V2O5 was not detected at relatively low V2O5 contents by FTIR and XRD on MgO-supported catalysts. Evidence from Raman spectroscopy and TPR indicated in some respects that various types of vanadia species were found to be present in MgO: monomeric vanadyls, one- and/or two-dimensional vanadate chains and crystallites of V2O5 at high V2O5 content only. Also, it is difficult to identify clearly the formation of the 'three-dimensional' binary oxide Mg2V2O7 for these types of catalysts.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCatalystsMagnesia-Supported Vanadium OxideAlkanesCharacterization of V2O5/MgO catalystsCharacterization of V2O5/MgO catalystsArticle443273276WOS:A1996UU372000122-s2.0-003016871710.1016/0254-0584(96)80068-XQ1N/A
