The specimens were collected from 39 different localities of Batman province and its districts. 23 species belonging to 11 genera of family Dytiscidae were recorded from the study area. Twenty of the 23 identified species were new records for the Batman province.Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinde yer alan Batman ilinin Dytiscidae (Yırtıcı dalgıç böcekleri) familyasına ait türlerin belirlenmesine yönelik yapılan bu çalışma Eylül-2018 ile Haziran-2019 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böcek örnekleri Batman ili ve ilçelerini kapsayan 39 farklı istasyondan toplanmıştır. Çalışma alanından Dytiscidae familyasının 11 cinsine ait 23 tür tespit edilmiştir.
