Severe anemia that occurred suddenly in a 27 years old male patient who was undergoing chronic HD program was investigated. Platelet count was normal but bleeding time was prolonged. Pulmonary hemorrhagic syndrome was considered secondary to platelet dysfunction. The diagnosis was confirmed by pulmonary biopsy.
