These effects are found to contribute to the non-relativistic Hamiltonian by adding nonlinearities and by modifying the gravitational Darwin term. As we discuss briefly in the text, the impact of these novel structures can be sizable in dense media like neutron star core, and can have observable signatures in phase transitions, for example.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessNon-Minimal CouplingQuartic Self-InteractionGravitational EffectsEffective Hamiltonian for non-minimally coupled scalar fieldsEffective Hamiltonian for non-minimally coupled scalar fieldsArticle4118792WOS:0002622798000092-s2.0-5814933385710.1007/s10714-008-0653-1Q2Q2
