Biricik, MuratKarakas, Recep2024-04-242024-04-2420110324-0770https://hdl.handle.net/11468/21137During their occasional observations at wetlands in the region spanning last two decades, the authors detected for first time small groups of White-headed Duck Oxyura leucocephala in a single day at two distinct dam reservoirs. As there was another single record previously, the scarcity of reports indicates that the species could be considered as a relatively rare migrant for SE Turkey, probably on their route between the breeding areas in northern parts of the country or other northern countries, and Middle East as wintering area. The appearance of birds and general properties of the habitat have been discussed.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessWhite-Headed DuckOxyura LeucocephalaSouth-Eastern AnatoliaTurkeyOn the Occurrence of White-headed Duck Oxyura leucocephala (SCOPOLI, 1769) in South-eastern Anatolia, TurkeyOn the Occurrence of White-headed Duck Oxyura leucocephala (SCOPOLI, 1769) in South-eastern Anatolia, TurkeyArticle632217219WOS:0002940864000152-s2.0-84887055837Q3Q4
