Toplama ve koruma güdüsü, insanların koleksiyon oluşturmasına neden olurken, eserlerin bir alanda sergilenmesi müze kavramının ortaya çıkmasına sebep olmuştur. Müzelerde mekân konfigürasyonu ile sergilenen eserlerin daha net algılanması sağlanabilmektedir. Mevcut mekân konfigürasyonunun sergilenen eserlerin algı devamlılığında mekânsal bütünlüğünün yeterli olup olmayacağı problemi doğrultusunda, mevcut bir müze yapısının mekân konfigürasyonunun bütünlüğünün incelenmesi çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma alanı olarak seçilen Zeugma Mozaik Müzesi, mekân sentaksı yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Yapının erişim grafikleri çizilerek çeşitli verilere ulaşılmıştır. DephtmapX ve Agraph programından yararlanarak yapının axial ve görünürlük haritaları oluşturulmuştur. Eserlerin yerleştirilmesiyle Zeugma Müzesi’nde mekân konfigürasyonunun bütünleşik olmasının sağlanması ve gamma değerinin azalması algılamada olumlu bir etki oluşturmaktadır. Çizilen haritalardan elde edilen veriler ışığında eserlerin yerleşimi sonrası, eserlerin görünürlüğünün ve ulaşılabilirliğinin azalması hol alanlarının birçok alana geçiş sağlamasından kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bütünlüğün artırılması ve algının sürekliliğinin sağlanması için öneriler sunulmuştur.Throughout history, people have tended to collect and protect objects they value. The motive for collecting and preserving led to the creation of collections by people, while the display of works in an area led to the emergence of the concept of a museum. It is possible to provide a clearer perception of the works exhibited in museums with the configuration of the place. In line with the question of whether the spatial integrity of the works exhibited in the perception continuity of the existing space configuration will be sufficient, the examination of the integrity of the space configuration of an existing museum structure constitutes the purpose of the study. The Zeugma Mosaic Museum, which was selected as a working area for this purpose, was examined by means of space synthesis. Various data were obtained by drawing the access graphs of the structure. Using the DephtmapX and Agraph were created. The placement of the works, the integration of the space configuration in the Zeugma Museum and the reduction of the gamma value have a positive impact on perception. In the light of the data obtained from the drawn maps, it was determined that after the placement of the works, the decrease in visibility and accessibility of the works was due to the transition of the hall areas to many areas.
