Recurrence of atretic parietal cephalocele in adult: A case report and review of literature. Folia Morphologica (Poland), 77(3), 591-596.0015-5659https://journals.viamedica.pl/folia_morphologica/article/view/55295https://hdl.handle.net/11468/10978PMID: 29235085Common presentation of atretic parietal cephalocele is mostly seen in infants and young children. It is a palpable midline parietal soft tissue mass which is thought to represent involuted true cephalocele (meningocele or encephalocele) connected to dura mater via a fibrous stalk. Atretic parietal cephalocele is associated with increased incidence of intracranial anomalies.. Parietal cephaloceles comprise about 1% of all cerebrospinal congenital malformations and 10% of cephaloceles. We report here the case of an atretic parietal cephalocele with no associated brain malformations in adult.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAtretic cephaloceleEncephaloceleStraight sinusBrain herniationAdultNeuroradiologyRecurrence of atretic parietal cephalocele in adult: A case report and review of literatureRecurrence of atretic parietal cephalocele in adult: A case report and review of literatureArticle773591596WOS:0004441930000262-s2.0-850532409162923508510.5603/FM.a2017.0109Q2Q4
