Sodium nitrate solution was used to maintain the ionic strengths. The stability constants show an inverse relationship with ionic strengths. The thermodynamic parameters (60% (v/v) DMF-water) (?G°, ?H°, ?S°) based on these formation constants were determined. The values of enthalpy change are negative for all systems. The ligand behaves toward the metal ion as a tetradentate ligand. The acid dissociation constant of ligand was investigated in 60% (v/v) DMF-water and calculated at different temperatures.
