First, the ore characteristics of the kyanite were determined and then the effects of operating parameters of shaking table such as tilt angle, stroke and speed on the separation were investigated for -0.3+0.1 mm size fraction. Shaking table tests were also applied to -0.5+0.3, -0.3+0.2 and -0.2+0.1 mm size fractions at the best operating conditions obtained for -0.3+0.1 mm size fraction. The minus 0.1 mm size fraction was processed only by flotation.
