The results were compared to BHA, BHT and ascorbic acid as standard antioxidant compounds. Both water and ethanol extracts presented high antioxidant potential on DPPH free radical scavenging assay and CUPRAC assay. Also, both extracts presented low level on ABTS and FRAP assays.
