Abstract
Özet: Mutasyonlar, DNA dizininde gerçekleşen kalıtsal değişimler olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Vitis vinifera L.
çeşitlerinin uzun yıllardır vejetatif çoğaltılan populasyonlar olması nedeniyle yüksek mutasyon birikimine sahip
oldukları kabul edilmektedir. Bağcılıkta mutasyon ıslahı asmalarda önemli bir veya birkaç özelliğin değişiminde
etkin rol oynamaktadır. Spontan ve uyarılmış mutasyonlar yeni çeşitlerin geliştirilmesi bakımından da oldukça
önemlidir. Bu makalede, bağcılıkta mutasyon ıslahı konusunda yapılan çalışmalar ve mutant Vitis Vinifera L. çeşitleri
hakkında literatür bilgileri sunulmuştur.
Abstract: Mutations are defined as hereditary changes in the DNA sequence. Since Vitis vinifera L. cultivars are populations that have been propagated vegetatively over long periods, it is accepted that they have a high accumulation of mutations. Mutation breeding plays an active role in the change of one or more important traits of grapevine. Spontaneous and induced mutations are also highly important in terms of development of new cultivars. In this article, mutation breeding studies in viticulture, and literature about mutant Vitis Vinifera L. grape cultivars were presented.
