Özet
Hayat kalitesi kişinin kendisini ne düzeyde iyi hissettiği, fiziksel durumunun seviyesi, günlük işlerini yerine getirirken karşılaşmış
olduğu kısıtlamalar ve bu işlevleri yerine getirirken duyduğu memnuniyet durumu ile ilgili geniş içerikli bir kavramdır. Modern diş
hekimliğinde amaç, hastada fonksiyon, estetik, konuşma ve ağız sağlığının yeniden sağlanmasıdır. Ağız sağlığı ile ilgili yaşam
kalitesi OHIP (Oral Health Impact Profile) testi ile değerlendirilmesi son zamanlarda güncel bir konudur. Bu çalışma ile diş eksikliği
olan hastaların, dental implant tedavisi sırasında ve sonrasında hayat kalitelerindeki değişikliğin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Hastaların diş eksiklik sınıflamasına bağlı olmaksızın dental implant tedavisi sonrasında hayat kalitelerinde hissedilir
derecede olumlu yönde artış gözlenmiştir.
Quality of life is a broad concept about how well a person feels himself/herself, the level of his/her physical condition, the constraints he/she encounters in performing his/her daily work, and his/her satisfaction with performing these functions. The aim of modern dentistry is to restore function, aesthetics, speech and oral health in the patient. The assessment of oral health-related quality of life with the OHIP test is a recent issue.The aim of this study was to investigate the change in quality of life of patients with dental deficiency during and after dental implant treatment. There was a marked increase in quality of life after dental implant treatment, regardless of the patients' tooth deficiency classification.
