Sir,In recent years, a marked interest hasemerged in the clinical evaluation of thecardiac autonomic functions and car-diorespiratory fitness. Heart rate recov-ery (HRR) after graded exercise is one ofthe commonly used techniques whichreflect autonomic activity and are posi-tively correlated with cardiovascular fit-ness indices such as maximum oxygenuptake and endurance capacity.
