The aim of the present study was to determine the prevalence of Dirofilaria immitis antigen, Ehrlichia canis and Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies, using an Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) (Snap 3Dx test; IDEXX Laboratories, Westbrook, Maine, USA). Study was performed on total of 82 mixed-breed dogs (60 female and 22 male). Each dog was examined clinically, microscopic examination of stained smear. D. immitis antigen infection was detected in 2 dogs (2.4%) and E. canis antibodies were present in 4 dogs (4.8%). None of the tested dogs (82) was positive for B. burgdorferi antibodies.en_US
