Özet

In this research, genetic relationships between 19 local grapevine cultivars (Vitis vinifera L.) growing in ?skilip-Çorum were investigated using 22 RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) primers. As a result of RAPD analysis, among the 142 total bands generated, 57 were polymorphic. Using UPGMA analysis, these cultivars separated in two main groups on the dendrogram, the first group including six grape cultivars and the second including 13 grape cultivars. Results indicated that similarity index between ?skilip-Çorum local grape cultivars was high. Although genetic similarity index of cultivars was close to each other, some similarly-named cultivars showing similar morphological characteristics were grouped separately. The highest similarity index (0.930) was obtained between local cultivars 'Sap?uzun'- 'Olukluüzüm', while the lowest similarity index (0.734) was found between cultivars 'Sapl?üzüm'- 'Erkencisübe'.
