Özet
Sitomegalovirüs infeksiyonu bütün dünyada yaygın dağılım gösterir. Sitomegalovirüs
infeksiyonunun insidansı yaşa, coğrafik bölgelere ve ekonomik duruma göre değişir. Sitomegalovirüs
infeksiyonu intranükleer ve sitoplasmik inklüzyon cisimcikleri içeren geniş hücrelerle karekterizedir. Bu
makalede, periferik kan yaymasında lösemik hücrelere benzeyen geniş atipik hücrelerle karekterize olan,
sitomegalovirüs hiperimmünglobülini ile tedavi ettiğimiz bir sitomegalovirüs infeksiyonu olgusunu
bildirdik.
Abstract:Cytomegalovirus infections are worldwide in distribution. The incidence of cytomegalovirus infection is related to age, geographic location, and economic status. The histologic lesion of cytomegalovirus infection is characterized by enlarged cells that contain intranuclear and cytoplasmic inclusion bodies. In this article, we reported that a case of cytomegalovirus infection is characterized by enlarged cells likely leukemic cells in peripheral blood smear was treated by cytomegalovirus immune globulin.
