Özet
Shaykh al-Islam Zekeriyyâ al-Ansari (d. 926/1520), who is considered as one of the leading scholars and qadi al-qudâts (chief qadi) of the Mamluk period, wrote in almost every branch of Islamic sciences such as tafsir, hadith, fiqh, kalam, mysticism, logic, and the Arabic language and literature. The names of most of these books were mentioned in the tabaqat sources, and many of them were critically edited and have reached the present day, and for this reason, there is no dispute in attributing them to al-Ansari. However, the misunderstanding of some texts in the tabaqat, regarding some works that bear more than one name belonging to Ansari as an independent work, and some of the writings of other scholars were mistakenly attributed to him, causing wrong books to be attributed to him. Therefore, in this study, existing books believed to be incorrectly attributed to him were studied and subjected to content analysis. As for those that were not available, I tried to identify the reasons that might cause misunderstanding by going to the source. As a result of this study conducted using the textual analysis method, it was found that many works that did not actually belong to al-Ansari were incorrectly attributed to him.
