THE NOCTUIDAE (LEPIDOPTERA) SPECIES IN HAZRO DISTRICT (DIYARBAKIR)

This study aimed to identify 23 noctuid species in Hazro district of Diyarbakır from 2014 to 2015. It was found that these species were from 20 genera and 8 subfamilies were examined. Some of the species identified in the study Acronicta rumicis (Linnaeus,1758), Agrochola mansueta (Herrich-Schäffer,[1850]), A. pistacina (Goeze,1781), Allophyes asiatica (Staudinger,1892), Asteroscopus syriaca (W.Warren,1910), Catocala abacta Staudinger,1900, Dichonia aeruginea (Hübner,[1803]), Dicycla oo (Linnaeus,1758), Episema tersa ([Denis & Schiffermüller],1775), Hecatera dysodea (Vieweg,1790), Leucania punctosa (Treitschke,1825), Metalopha liturata (Christoph,1887), Mniotype solieri (Boisduval,1840), Noctua orbona (Hufnagel,1766), Polymixis spp. Hübner,[1820]and Zethes brandti Janzon,1977 are found a new record for Diyarbakır region.
