Özet
Tortum Gölü, Şelalesi ve Çevresinin Dijital araçlarla yapılmış 3 boyutlu blokdiyagramı. Erzurum'un Uzundere ilçesinde bulunan Tortum Şelalesi, Tortum Gölü'nün Tev Vadisi'ndeki heyelan kütlesinin üzerinden akan, 21 metre genişliğinde ve 48 metre yüksekliğinde bir şelaledir. 1700'lü yıllarda Kemerlidağ'dan ayrılan büyük heyelan kütlesinin Tortum Çayı'nın aktığı Vadiyi kapatmasıyla oluşmuştur.
Şelale ve çevresi, yörenin önemli mesire alanlarından biridir. Tortum Şelalesi'ne 1952-1960 yılları arasında hidroelektrik santrali yapılmıştır. Uzundere ilçesinde bulunan bu doğa harikası, Erzurum ilinin 100 km kuzeyinde, Uzundere ilçesine 16 km mesafede ve Erzurum-Artvin Karayolu üzerinde, Tortum Gölü’nün kuzey kenarında bulunmaktadır.

Tortum Waterfall located in Uzundere district of Erzurum is a 21 meter wide and 48 meter high waterfall flowing over the landslide mass in Tev Valley of Tortum Lake. It was formed in the 1700s when the large landslide mass separated from Kemerlidağ closed the valley where Tortum Stream flows. The waterfall and its surroundings are also one of the important recreation areas of Erzurum. A hydroelectric power plant was built in Tortum Waterfall between 1952-1960 and it started to contribute to Türkiye's electricity supply. This natural wonder located in Uzundere district is located 100 km north of Erzurum province, 16 km from Uzundere district and on the northern edge of Tortum Lake.
