Serbest dişeti grefti: Bir olgu sunumu

Dişeti çekilmesi hem klinisyen hem de hasta tarafından sık karşılaşılan bir sorundur. Dişeti marjininin, mine-sement birleşiminden apikale doğru yer değiştirmesi olarak tanımlanır. Hastaların estetiğe artan ilgisi, mukogingival cerrahinin amaçlarında iyileştirmeye yol açmıştır. Dişeti çekilmesinin ilerlemesini durdurmak ve kötü estetik görünümü düzeltmek için çeşitli mukogingival cerrahi işlemler kullanılmaktadır. Serbest dişeti grefti de, mandibular anterior bölgede yetersiz yapışık dişeti olan bölgelerde dişeti çekilmesi için kullanılan en yaygın tekniklerden biridir. Bu vakada, hasta Dicle Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Periodontoloji Anabilim Dalı’na dişeti çekilmesi şikayeti ile başvurmuştur. Çekilme olan bölgenin serbest dişeti grefti ile kapatılması planlanmıştır. Operasyon sonrasında yara iyileşmesinde herhangi bir komplikasyon gelişmemiştir. İstenen kök yüzey kapanması elde edilmiştir. Oral hijyen ve periodontal idame programına devam edilmektedir.

Gingival recession is a frequent issue encountered by both the clinician and the patient. It is defined as apical displacement of gingival margin from the cementoenamel junction. Patient’s growing interest in aesthetics has lead to refinement in the goals of mucogingival surgery. Various mucogingival surgical procedures are used to halt the progression of the gingival recession and to correct poor esthetic appearance. Free gingival autograft is one of the most common techniques used for a gingival recession in areas of inadequate attached gingiva in the mandibular anterior region. In this case, the patient applied to Dicle University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology with the complaint of gingival recession. It is planned to close the recessed area with a free gingival graft. There were no complications in wound healing after the operation. Desired root surface closure and some creeping attachment were obtained. Oral hygiene and periodontal maintenance program continues.
