Özet
Bir kültür ve sanat akımı olarak postmodernizm uzun yıllardır edebiyatı
etkisi altına almıştır. Türkiye’de edebiyatta postmodernizm olgusuna
odaklanan birçok çalışma genellikle roman ve öykü gibi kurmaca metinleri
inceler. Buna karşın şiirde postmodernizm olgusuna yönelen çalışmalar yok
denecek kadar azdır. Oysaki Avrupa ve Amerika’da kurmaca metinlerin
yanında şiir metinlerinde de postmodernizmin etkilerinin incelendiği ve
postmodern şiir denilen bir fenomenin varlığının kabul edildiği görülür.
Postmodern şiir denilen fenomen, birçok açıdan avangart modernist
akımlardan izler taşımasına rağmen sanayi sonrası dönemin şartlarına göre
ortaya çıkmıştır. İlk olarak Amerika’da Charles Olson ve Frank O’Hara gibi
şairler ile birlikte anılan postmodern şiir, günümüzde yaygın şiir anlayışı
halini almıştır. Sanayi sonrası döneminin yaşam koşulları, büyük anlatılara
duyulan güvenin azalması, kişinin bilimsel gelişmeler neticesinde korkuya
kapılması, ahlaki ve dinî değerlerin aşınmaya uğraması, aşırı bireyselleşme
ve bunu sonucunda kişinin yalnızlığının derinleşmesi şairlerin değişik bir şiir
anlayışına yönelmelerini tetiklemiştir. Deneysel şiir, görsel şiir, somut şiir,
elektronik şiir gibi birçok şiir anlayışı da postmodernizm ile ilişkilendirilir.
Eklektizm, çok seslilik, deneysellik, biçimsizlik, kapalılık postmodern şiirin
başta gelen özellikleridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı postmodern şiirin kökenini
ortaya koymak ve postmodern şiirin temel özelliklerini belirlemektir.
Postmodernism has affected literature as a culture and an arts movement for a long years. Many works about postmodernism in Turkey generally examine fiction texts such as novel and story. But works that examine postmodernism phenomenon in poetry is very few. We can observe that it is accepted postmodern poetry phenomenon and it is examined postmodern poetry in Europe and America. Postmodern poetry comes into existence under the conditions of the post-industrial era although it inherits a lot of elements from the modernist avant-garde movements. Postmodern poetry, remembered firstly Charles Olson and Frank O’Hara in America, is common poetry movements. The conditions of the post- industrial area, the loss of confidence in the meta-narratives, the people terrified as a result of scientific developments, erosion of moral and religious values, extreme individualism and become isolated have triggered to poets tend a different approach to poetry. Postmodern poetry often is associated with experimental poetry, concrete poetry, visual poetry. Postmodern poetry features are eclecticism, polyphony, experimentation, formlessness, ambiguity. The aim of this work is to state the origin of postmodern poetry and determine the basic features of postmodern poetry.
