Özet
Bu çalışma, İnsülin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (İDDM)'lu 27 çocuk ile 20 sağlıklı çocuğun kan serumu yapıldı. Serum bakır ve serüloplazmin düzeyi kontrol gruba göre anlamlı yüksek iken, serum çinko, total protein ve albumin düzeyleri anlamlı bir değişiklik göstermedi. Diyabetli hasta grubunda serum bakır ve çinko düzeyi ile glukoz, protein ve albumin arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktu. Serum bakır düzeyi ile seruloplazmin arasındaki ilişki anlamlıydı. Kontrol grubunda böyle bir ilişki görülmedi.
In this study, blood serum of 27 children with Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM) and 20 healthy children was performed. While serum copper and ceruloplasmin levels were significantly higher than the control group, serum zinc, total protein and albumin levels did not show any significant change. There was no significant relationship between serum copper and zinc levels and glucose, protein and albumin in the diabetic patient group. The relationship between serum copper level and ceruloplasmin was significant. No such relationship was observed in the control group.
