Üriner sistem enfeksiyonlarında seftazidim tedavisi

Üriner infeksiyonu olan ve 30'unda tek, 4'ünde müşterek infeksiyon etkeni olarak E. coli izole edilen 40 olgunun tedavisinde seftazidimin etkinlik derecesi araştırılmıştır. Antibiyotik 7 gün süre ile 100 mg/kg/gün olarak verilmiş, tedavi ile %90 başarı elde edilmiştir.

The efficacy of ceftazidime was investigated in the treatment of 40 patients with urinary tract infections, 30 of whom were single and 4 were co-infected with E. coli. The antibiotic was given as 100 mg/kg/day for 7 days, and 90% success was achieved with the treatment.
