Effekte des aktivators bei der klasse-II-1-therapie

This study is based on pre- and posttreatment cephalographs of 30 girls and 30 boys with class II division 1 malocclusion who were treated with an activator. In order to determine the actual effect of the activator, the treatment group was compared to the control group from the growth study of Riolo et al. The significant effects of the activator were as follows: Decrease of the ANB angle, increase of the SNB angle, prevention of the decrease of the SN/occlusal plane angle and retrusion of the upper incisors.
