dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada hayat bilgisi dersinin fen bilimleri ve sosyal bilgiler derslerine hazırlık-destek açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kapsamında genel tarama modeli ve korelasyonel model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni sınıf öğretmenleri; çalışma evreni ise Iğdır ilinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleridir. Araştırma verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) ve Hayat Bilgisi Dersi-Hazırlık-destek İşlevi Ölçeği (H-HDİÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Katılımcıların hayat bilgisi dersini hazırlık-destek işlevi açısından ne düzeyde değerlendirdiğini belirlemek için betimsel istatistiklerden standart sapma ve ortalama, katılımcıların bu konudaki görüşlerini yordayan değişkenlerin belirlenmesi maksadıyla ise standart çoklu regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, sınıf öğretmenleri hayat bilgisi dersinin, sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretim programı unsurlarına hazırlık işlevi ile sosyal bilgiler dersine duyuşsal hazırlık işlevini yerine getirebildiğine katılmaktadırlar. Bağımsız sınıf okutma, öğrencilerin akademik başarıları, okulların sosyal ve eğitsel imkânları ve öğretmenlerin öğretim programlarını inceleme düzeyleri ise sınıf öğretmenlerinin bu konudaki görüşlerini anlamlı bir biçimde yordayabilmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to examine the life studies course in terms of preparation and support for science and social studies courses. The study employed general survey model and correlational model. The universe of the research was classroom teachers, and the sample of the study consisted of the classroom teachers working in Iğdır. Data were collected with the Personal Information Form (PIF) and Life Studies Course-Preparation-Support Functioning Scale (L-PSF) developed by the researchers. Standard deviation and mean from descriptive statistics were used to determine the level of participants' evaluation of the life studies course in terms of preparationsupport function, and standard multiple regression analysis was used to determine the variables that predict the participants' views on this subject. The results highlighted that primary school teachers agreed that the life studies course could fulfill the function of preparation for the elements of the social studies course curriculum and affective preparation for the social studies course. Independent classroom teaching, students' academic achievements, schools' social and educational opportunities, and teachers' levels of reviewing curriculum can significantly predict classroom teachers' views on this subject.en_US
