Özet
Protein enerji malnütrisyonunda (PEM) bir çok sistemin yanında endokrin sistemde de bazı değişikliklerin oluştuğu bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmada Dicle Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Kliniğine başvuran 22'si marasmus ve 10'u kwashiorkorlu olmak üzere toplam 32 malnütrisyonlu hastada bazı endokrin fonksiyonlar araştırıldı.
It is known that some changes occur in the endocrine system as well as many systems in protein energy malnutrition (PEM). In this study, some endocrine functions were investigated in a total of 32 malnourished patients, 22 with marasmus and 10 with kwashiorkor, who applied to the Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.
