Çoklu zeka kuramına göre geliştirilen etkinliklere dayalı öğretime ilişkin öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim 7. sınıf çokgenler konusunda çoklu zekâ kuramına göre geliştirilen etkinliklere dayalı öğretime ilişkin öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşlerini incelemek ve bu etkinlikleri tanıtmaktır. Bu amaçla çoklu zekâ kuramına dayalı olarak beş adet etkinlik geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada özel durum yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu bir ilköğretim okulunun yedinci sınıfındaki 24 öğrenci ve dersin öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplamak amacıyla öğrencilere açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir anket ve öğretmene yapılandırılmış mülakat uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, öğrencilerin ve öğretmenin geliştirilen etkinliklere ve etkinliklerle gerçekleştirilen öğretime ilişkin olarak olumlu görüş içinde oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. The purpose of this study is to investigate students’ and their teacher’s views about the instruction based on the activities developed according to the multiple intelligences theory and to describe those activities of polygons topic on 7th grade level at the primary education. Along with this aim, five activities are developed according to the multiple intelligences theory. A case study method is used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 24 seventh grade students and their mathematics teacher. To collect data, a survey consisting of open ended questions for students and a structured interview for teacher are conducted. The study reveals that both teacher and students have positive opinions with regard to activities and instruction based on the multiple intelligences theory. To make instruction more effective some suggestions are also provided according to the results.
